Caber Acquires Sure Fit of Canada

Markham, Ontario —

Caber Distributors has acquired slipcover producer Sure Fit Home Furnishings, also known as Sure Fit Canada. The new company will be named Caber Sure Fit.

Caber is the exclusive Canadian distributor for Protect-A-Bed mattress protectors, the creator of the BedCare Mattress Warranty, and supplier of the Diamond-Kote Furniture Protection Plan and P3 Performance Protection Plan for appliances. The company operates five distribution channels: retail, hospitality, pest control, health care, property management.

Caber will retain the Sure Fit name and website as well as staff and sales force. In addition, Caber will move to larger premises and hire additional personnel as a result of the acquisition.

Caber is in the market for other acquisitions, he added.
