Federated is friendly home for female execs

Cincinnati — Federated Department Stores has been named one of "The Top 30 Companies for Executive Women" by the National Association for Female Executives.

Federated ranked No. 11 of the hundreds of companies evaluated, moving up from No. 23 last year and besting all other retailers on the list that was released today by NAFE.

Three other retailers made the list: Target, No.17; Sears, No.19; and Office Depot, No. 29.
