Safavieh names Mare to new post

New York – Rug maker Safavieh has created a new regional sales managerial position -- territory manager assigned to Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma -- and appointed Sherry Mare to fill it.

Mare owned a service business for the past 20 years. In her new stint she is based in St. Louis, Mo.

Arash Yaraghi, principal of Safavieh, said Mare is responsible for sales to all channels of distribution in the territory.

“I am focusing on building relationships in the territory,” Mare said. “With Safavieh’s product and my passion for customer service, we plan on exploding sales in the Midwest.”
