Calvin Klein Offers Direct-to-Consumer Rugs

Calvin Klein Inc. has added its branded area rugs — Calvin Klein Home Rugs — to its assortment of home products sold direct to consumers on www.calvinklein.com.

The select online offering includes four individual styles -- Organic Weave, Prairie, Loom Select, and New Patina — which are available in a range of designs and colorways. Sizes run from 2-by-3 to 10-by-14.

The rug styles are made to complement the Calvin Klein bedding, bath, table top and giftware items also available for purchase on the site.

Organic Weave rugs are woven of hand-spun, hand-sheared and vegetable-dyed wool. The Prairie rugs employ rawhides in contrasting hues for a contemporary look. The Loom Select rugs are dense and textural and feature hand-carved design accents. And New Patina rugs depict a lustrous surface achieved by combining high-quality wool with special silk-like yarns.

Retail price points start at $549 and run through $3,349, depending on the collection, construction and size. The rugs are also available at other retail accounts as well as at the Calvin Klein Collection flagship store at 654 Madison Avenue in New York.
