Natura expands collection

CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO -Natura World Inc., the company probably best known for its European style slat mattress and wool mattress pads, has expanded its product offering.
The company, based here, will be showcasing its new 100 percent wool comforter and latex pillow with wool and terry cloth cover during the spring market.
"They're both just natural extensions of our mattress pads and Wool Cloud pillow line," said Wendy Bairos, director of communications. "We're just adding another dimension so everyone has something to sleep with that's healthy."
The new comforter will be available in twin through queen sizes and carries a wholesale price point of $98 for a queen.
The latex pillow has a solid latex core with a layer of wool on top and terry cloth cover. It will carry a wholesale price point of $29.99 for a standard size and $35.99 for a queen.
"Wool wicks moisture away from the body and releases it into the air, so the surface of the bedding won't feel damp or clammy in any way," said Bairos about Natura's use of wool. "When they sleep, people will be at their ideal temperature."
Both products are hypo-allergenic and anti-microbial and are available in natural or organic wool, and both, Bairos said, will hopefully be placed at the department and specialty store level.
