New York —
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia announced that Wenda Harris Millard is stepping down from as president of media and co-ceo to join a public relations firm. MSLO said it has no plans to replace her.
"Wenda has been a champion of Martha's groundbreaking Omnimedia vision on which this company was built," said Charles Koppelman, chairman and principal executive officer.
Company founder Martha Stewart will oversee all editorial and creative functions.
Koppelman will now also oversee MSLO's media businesses. Additionally, Robin Marino, who continues to oversee merchandising as the segment's president and ceo, is expected to be recommended to join MSLO's board of directors.
"Robin will continue to work with me to identify new opportunities and create synergies across our media and merchandising businesses," Koppelman said.
Millard spent the past five years working for MSLO, first as a board member before being named last year to her current role.
"I am very proud of the contributions I've made to MSLO...We've built an agile team and a strong foundation for future growth," she said.
We would love your feedback!
