Taylor sets up shop

CARLISLE , Pa. — Linda Taylor, formerly a senior designer at the now-closed Hoffman Mills, has formed DMT Studio here.
Taylor, who served as senior designer for the bedding line and weave development specialist, is joined by Chris Mcdonel, artistic director. She formerly was a textiles designer/studio designer and merchandise manager/trade show coordinator at Hoffman.
DMT which stands for Design Master Textile, offers design assistance and services including translating concepts into fabric, editing images, layout work, construction analysis, card cutting designs, creating loom files, forecasting domestic color trends, recommending yarns, technical assistance for wide weaving, and creating multiple color ways.
