Gift and Home Trade Association to offer e-seminars

Grand Rapids, Mich. -- The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA), a non-profit professional trade association, is launching a new education e-seminar program aimed at aiding industry sales representatives.

The e-seminar is titled "Standout and Be Successful" and comprises a variety of education training programs via the web.

"The GHTA's e-seminar program will allow sales reps from across the country to benefit from this training, ensuring all reps have the opportunity to increase their sales by implementing some of the program's greatest sales tools," said Ed Butler, a GHTA board member and co-owner of The Butler Group Inc. -- a family-owned and operated sales organization representing wholesale suppliers of the gift industry.

Three of the several available topics from the GHTA's two-day education online seminar are: "Manage Your Sales Calls," "Understand Your Buyer," and "Know Your Lines."

All seminars are available to GHTA members and non-members can participate for a fee, which starts at $25 but varies by seminar. Each program runs one hour and is limited to 10 participants. They are applicable to both senior- and junior-level sales reps.

The seminars' facilitator and the person who will lead the e-seminars is Clark Orlaska, the owner of Practical Sales, which offers sales management, training and educational solutions.
