Baltic adds to its Wardrobe

NEW YORK -- Baltic Linen Co. is launching the newest addition to its Wardrobe fashion bedding line -- basic sheet sets and duvet covers.

The Wardrobe Basics assortment composes jacquard and dobby sheet sets and duvet covers in multiple solid colorways, as well as some printed sateen styles. All can stand alone but were also made to coordinate with existing Wardrobe designs.

"You might say this is a color multiplier because it allows you to mix and match the colors, and they all key back to our Wardrobe bedding collections," said Jane Berger, vice president of bedding design. "The basics really add some freshness and layering to the line."

Baltic first launched its Wardrobe collection in fall 2004. It is inspired by ready-to-wear and features many dressmaker details, according to the company. Wardrobe Basics carry the same price points and customers as Wardrobe, which caters to department and specialty stores.
