Shannon named coo

NEW YORK —

Michael Shannon has been named to the newly created coo position for Brylane Inc.

Effective April 15, Shannon will be responsible for leading the operations strategy within a unified group of support functions including information technology, distribution, customer relations, and procurement. He will report directly to Russell Stravitz, ceo.

Shannon was previously with Toys "R" Us, where he served as president of worldwide logistics and administration, leading the technology, real estate, guest services, and distribution functions.
