JCPenney honors home merchants with President's Award

PLANO, TX —

Eight home division merchants were awarded the Chairman's Award recognizing managerial excellence at JCPenney.

Greg Franko, vp, dmm, window coverings and luggage, and Steve Jebbia, vp, dmm, bed and bath, headed the list of home division awardees.

Other home division winners were Bill Presser, buyer of drapery hardware, blinds and shades; Cal Baumann, buyer of sheets, pillows and pads; Nancy Busher, buyer of ready-made and made to measure; Rod Franz, buyer of ready-made curtains; Laura Williams, buyer of towels, accent rugs and bath mats; and Debra Schweiss-Hankins, divisional trend director of home, product development and sourcing.

Springs Industries, Fort Mill, SC, was honored as the home division key supplier for creativity, trend skills and timely customer delivery, an award presented annually to each merchandise division's supplier that fulfills these goals at the highest levels.
