Fieldcrest Gains Int'l Licensees

Official Pillowtex has signed five international licensing agreements for the Fieldcrest brand. These new partners bring the total number of Fieldcrest licensees outside the United States and Canada to seven.

Production will be up and running by early fall, the company said. The new partners and their exclusive territories:

• Double Star Industry Co. – Thailand.

• Eastern Decorator SDn BHd - Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei.

• Housetex Company, Ltd. – Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, Quatar, Oman, Jordan, and Iran.

• Colortex SA – Argentina.

• Canontex SA – Chile.

"I have known and worked with these top manufacturers for many years," said Jose Delgado, director of international licensing for all Pillowtex Brands. "They have been, and will continue to be, important members of the Fieldcrest family."
