By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 12/4/2006 12:00:00 AM

Revman has promoted Harry Kartus, currently vp and general manager of the Tommy Hilfiger Home division, to senior vp and chief merchandising officer of Revman International. He succeeds Norm Savaria, who has left the company to pursue other interests.

In his new role, Kartus will be responsible for all aspects of Revman's business for both the Tommy and Revman divisions of the company and will report directly to Richard Roman, president and ceo of the company.

Harry Kartus spent the first nine years of his career in retailing at Foley's. He then worked at Ralph Lauren Home from 1991-97 in various positions. He joined Revman in 1997 as national sales manager of the newly launched Tommy Hilfiger Home Division. He was promoted in 2002 to vp and general manager of the Tommy Hilfiger division.

Roman said, "I believe he will bring a fresh perspective to the business and we all look forward to working with him in this new capacity as CMO."
