UF&D gets new DC

DES PLAINES, IL —

After leasing a building to handle its distribution operations for several years, United Feather & Down recently bought a new distribution facility.

According to Brandon Palmer, executive vp for the down bedding manufacturer, based here, the building is larger than the previous facility, which is also located in Elk Grove, IL.

"We're continuing to improve our capacities and to improve our facilities to service our customers better," Palmer said.
