Flynn joins S. Lichtenberg

New York – Bob Flynn has joined S. Lichtenberg & Co. as director of bedding, a new position for the company.

Flynn, an industry veteran, most recently was president of Thomasville Home Furnishings. Earlier he was with Kensington Home Fashions and prior to that was with Home Innovations. He started his career with Shapiro & Sons.

“Bob will head our bedding business, which we have dabbled in previously,” explained Carl Goldstein, senior vp of S. Lichtenberg, a 75-year-old company less known for bedding than for its signature product lines of curtains, draperies and shower curtains. “Now we have someone who knows the business and we have a serious opportunity to succeed.” Flynn reports to Goldstein.
