New York — Crystal Textile Group has expanded the research and development services available at its Warp Knit Mills plant in Lincolnton, NC.
A group of textile, industrial and chemical engineers are now on hand and available to current and prospective customers in order to present them with mock-ups or prototypes of products. The expanded group enables Crystal to present the product samples usually within a 24-hour period.
According to Bert Crystal, vp, both teams may also be sent to on-site locations in order to instruct manufacturers on the proper handling of Crystal's fabrics.
"This is a throwback to years ago when these services were all available," said Crystal. "Like everything else they disappeared, but our company is trying to revitalize those services which customers can't get elsewhere."
We would love your feedback!
