Already extending its reach following its recent acquisition of the Chatham blanket and throw business from CMI Industries, WestPoint is launching a carriage-trade Tencel adult bed blanket, picking up on the strength of a hot property in its terry lines. The new Tencel entry, at $22.50 for the twin, is the first of many blankets on the drawing board designed to build on WestPoint's already huge position in Vellux blankets. Capitalizing on a new license, WestPoint will launch five new Disney printed blankets on a 100 percent polyester fiber woven construction.
