Beahm, Cindric out as Wal-Mart home merchants

Bentonville, Ark. – The shifts in home merchandising executives continue at Wal-Mart Stores, with the departure of senior vp, gmm soft home Lucy Cindric, and the transfer of Paul Beahm from svp gmm, hard home to svp, gmm pharmacy.
The company made no comment on the move, except to say that no replacements have yet been named to the home merchandising posts.
On Jan. 24 the home area was designated as one of four divisions reporting to newly named chief merchandising officer John Fleming (he had been chief marketing officer), while executive vp merchandising Claire Watts was shifted from home to apparel, also reporting to Fleming.
Cindric moved into home merchandising in April 2006 from her post in apparel. At that time Beahm’s responsibility shifted from soft home to hard home and related categories.
