Springs names new evp, makes account team changes

FORT MILL, S.C. — Springs Industries announced a new executive position with functional and broad responsibilities to ensure corporate opportunities are captured across diverse business segments.
This new assignment created several other changes in the leaders of various Springs business units and account teams. Dean Riggs was named executive vice president of quality and corporate services. He previously served as head of the company's bath products business. Chris Baker, formerly a retail account team leader, succeeds Riggs. Torrence Shealy, who led the company's decorative floor coverings business, succeeds Baker. Steve Pianowski, previous leader of a retail account team, succeeds Shealy.
