Shaw Living expands nature-themed rugs

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 7/18/2006 1:11:00 PM

Dalton, Ga. – Shaw Living is building on its wildlife rug line by artist Philip Crowe with the addition of the Timber Creek collection. It comprises 32 rugs that depict Crowe’s love of wildlife and the outdoors with styling reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Made from machine-woven olefin, these pieces employ shades of rich reds, warm neutrals, gold, soft greens, eggplant, brown and vintage blue. There are five available sizes from accent to area, with a 5-foot-5-inch-by-7-foot-8-inch set to retail for $379.

Shaw Living is also expanding its Accents collection with five new designs that draw inspiration from organic and nature motifs, Asian themes, Santa Fe looks, modern stripes and geometrics, rhythmic transitional images and classic European and Persian styles. Machine woven of heat-set olefin fiber, these stain resistant rugs feature earthy and jewel tones. Rug sizes range from accent to roomsize, and a 5-foot-3-inch-by-7-foot-10-inch is set to retail for $179.
