Montreal – “Some call it the great outdoors,” declared Barry Goodman, vp national accounts at Commonwealth Home Fashions. “in home decorating terms it’s known as ‘the fifth room.’”
For market, Goodman is putting the final touches on the company’s expanded Outdoor Décor line, which features fade- and mildew-resistant fabrics in 100% spun polyester; the look champions stainless steel-plated grommets that he said reflect the overall themes of backyard gazebos, screened porches, decks, balconies and pool shacks.
Outdoor Décor this market is augmented with two styles: Bamboo, a yarn dye heavyweight grommet with a $49 retail target; and Escape, a voile grommet set to retail at $19. Both lines come in 84-inch and 96-inch lengths, and in multiple colorways.
We would love your feedback!
