Moyer's departure leads to changes at Mohawk

Sugar Valley, GA — Initiated by the recent exit of Patrick Moyer from his post at Mohawk Home as vp of marketing to become the president of U.S. operations for Belgian floor covering company Balta, Mohawk Home president Bill Kilbride has made several executive changes.
"We're making a couple of moves here, some predicated on [Moyer's] departure," Kilbride told HTT.
Jeff Jacobs, who was vp and product manager for textiles, will replace Moyer and report to Kilbride. "Jeff came to us in our acquisition of Crown Crafts two years ago as vp of marketing, so his new post is a job he'll be familiar with," said Kilbride.
Replacing Jacobs in his former post will be Bart Hill, but under the new title of general manager of textiles. For Hill, who was most recently area rug product manager, the new position is a promotion. A replacement for Hill has not yet been named.
"We'll probably promote internally for his old job, but not yet," Kilbride said. "We will fill it as soon as it's practical for us to do so."
Hill now reports directly to Rocky Casteel, vp of area rugs and textiles.
We would love your feedback!
