Casali named svp at Dan River

NEW YORK —

Lou Casali has been promoted to senior vp, sales and marketing for Dan River's department and specialty store adult bedding segments, Tom Muscalino, president of the home fashions division, announced last week.

Casali had been vp, national sales manager for those segments since 1999. He joined Dan River in 1998 as western regional sales manager. In his new position, Casali will report to Muscalino.

Prior to Dan River, Casali was vp, sales and marketing for Intercontinental Art Co. as well as vp, national sales manager at Crown Crafts. He began his career in sales at WestPoint Pepperell.

The post was most recently held by John Hall, who left Dan River in June of last year.

Geri Wetmore, vp, lifestyle brand development, will report to Casali, along with regional sales managers Larry Hicks, John Olsen and Scott McLam; national accounts manager Stacey Vega; and product managers Alison Rearer and Gina Marinucci.
