Schommer now gmm home at Wal-Mart

Bentonville, Ark. – Wal-Mart Stores has promoted Beth Schommer to senior vp, gmm for the home area, reporting to a new executive vp home, yet to be named.

Schommer was most recently vp sourcing, a Wal-Mart spokesperson told HTT.

Merchandising leadership in the home area at the world’s largest retailer is in flux due to the recent shift of Claire Watts from home to apparel, the shift of Paul Beahm from hard home to pharmacy, and the departure of Lucy Cindric.
