Home Furnishings International recruits Coughlin

New York – Tom Coughlin has joined HFI as executive vp, general manager. Coughlin, who most recently was with Victoria Classics as evp, reports to Tom Healy, president of HFI, and David Li, corporate ceo of Home Furnishings International, parent of HFI and ADF.

Earlier Coughlin was with R.G. Barry as evp, general manager, and prior to that was with Springs, most recently as senior vp, sales and global team leader for Wal-Mart and Sam’s.

Coughlin is responsible for sales, marketing, and product development for the bedding and window businesses at HFI, Li said. The decorative pillow unit and Wesley Mancini Collection that will be launched later this year report to Healy, as do the operations and supply chain management units.
