MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — Kohl's Department Stores has promoted Jon Nordeen to executive vice president of planning and allocation and created three new senior vice president of planning and allocation positions.
Nordeen previously served as the senior vice president and chief information officer, a position he has held since joining the company in 2001. Before joining Kohl's, he served five years at Spiegel Inc. and 13 years at Dayton Hudson Corporation.
"Throughout Jon's career, he has been involved with merchandise planning and allocation systems and processes. The depth and breadth of Jon's retail experience is a great asset to our company, and his new appointment demonstrates our management bench strength," said Kohl's President Kevin Mansell.
In addition to promoting Nordeen, Kohl's filled two of the senior vice presidents of planning and allocation positions through internal promotions.
Larry Montgomery, Kohl's CEO said, "This organization change, combined with the realignment of our merchandise organization earlier this year, reflects our continued focus on building for our future success."
