Wedge to take over as president/ceo at BJ's

Natick, MA — BJ's Wholesale Club announced that John "Jack" Nugent has stepped down from his post as president and ceo for personal reasons. The board has elected Michael Wedge, formerly evp, club operations, to replace him.

Wedge joined the company in 1988, and served in his former position since 1997.

The company also named Edward Giles evp, club operations.
