CONCORD, NH -Opening a new top-of-the-line umbrella over its roster of fashion throws, DJC Design Studio debuts an ultra-luxe group of cashmere and faux-fur looks during this week's market.
In a go-for-broke mood, Buckingham is an over-size 58" x 70" all-cashmere throw with a 6-inch border of lush faux fur on both ends. It comes in one colorway, camel. The cost price is $249.
Aimed at an even higher price point is Horton Bay, an all faux-fur entry in the ongoing Ernest Hemingway collection. The 54" x 70" throw features thick, silky faux fur in grey, black and brown on both sides. It's $325.
Kodiak is another brown/ black faux fur throw featuring ultra-soft fur on one side with a cotton/fayon black damask on the other side. The 54" x 70" is $225.
Rounding out the spring line are two more entries into the Ernest Hemingway collection. Appaloosa is a chenille in a cream color with flecks of brown tones and a hand-knotted fringe. It's generous at 50" x 77" and priced at $69.50. Masai is an African animal scene woven in tones of black and camel on one side and backed with a cotton/rayon black damask. The four corners are adorned with handmade black chenille tassels. The 54" x 54" throw is $76.50.
