Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – Heat transfer resource Transprint announced that ceo William Boyd is retiring from the day-to-day operations of the company; he will continue as a consultant to Transprint on textile innovation.
Boyd grew Transprint into the largest producer and supplier of top quality heat-transfer paper in the United States for design, fabric and finished goods. The company, purchased by Colorep, Inc. in 2007, is now expanding.
“Bill is a true industry giant,” said Colorep ceo Larry Levy. “His depth of knowledge and experience is immeasurable. His legacy will continue through the innovation and dedication of the Transprint staff.”
Boyd, a past president of the International Transfer Print Institute, led Transprint to develop a library of more than 15,000 designs sold to customers around the world.
