Fiber technology enhancements made a showing in a variety of products on display at the New York Home Textiles Show, which opened Friday at the Jacob Javits center.
Among the offerings were:
-
"Hydro" aloe vera bedding from Downtown Co. Sheets and pillowcases are constructed from cotton and aloe vera and release billions of aloe vera molecules that hydrate the skin without moistening it.
-
The "Smart Throw" from Huntingdon Home which is treated with an anti-odor fragrance that releases microbeads of scent when the chenille-like fabric is rubbed. Made of a blend of acrylic and polyester, the throws are also anti-microbial, stain resistant and flame retardant.
-
The "Ceiba" Pillow, a naturally hypoallergenic pillow from Desalon that is filled with "silk" from ceiba tree pods.
-
Sea Cell bedding from Curt Bauer features bed linens woven from a blend of cotton, lyco cell and seaweed that revitalize the skin during sleep.
We would love your feedback!
