Blair Corp. taps Avon exec to board

WARREN, PA —
Blair Corp., a national catalog and direct mail marketer of women's and men's apparel as well as home, has named Harriet Edelman, senior vp and cio of Avon Products, to its board of directors.
Edelman, a 21-year vet of Avon, is currently responsible for global technical strategy, infrastructure and data center operations and application development. Previously, she had leadership roles in marketing, sales and information technology.
