PHI Adds Products

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 8/15/2005 12:00:00 AM

PHI has expanded into shower curtains with 15 to 20 styles that included various sheers with embroidery, several pieced looks and SilkAllure-based designs, such as one with a handkerchief-style fishnet mesh.

By the October New York Home Textiles Market, PHI will showcase its growing window and new shower curtain business in the current juvenile bedding area of its showroom.

The company also launched window jewelry with five styles of beaded accessories that can be hung in various ways for a more formal or casual feel.

New fabrications have arrived in window, such as a crepe construction in panels and scarves that comes in five colors, a macramé with woven stripe design and tassel fringe, a hop sack fabric with buckle tabs and an inverted box pleat in linen with button details.

In bedding, PHI continues to see a trend in antique soft floral prints on specialty fabrics such as sateen and pique.

New looks in this Past Perfect group include: Bayshore, a blue floral with eyelet frame and accent on sateen; Tea Garden, a retro, soft-green-and-coral floral panel with leaf border on pique with grosgrain ribbon; and Afternoon Tea, antique floral bouquets on a light teal ground with striped accent on sateen.
