Hollander debuts Laura Ashley Anniversary Collection

Boca Raton, Fla. – Manufacturer Hollander Home Fashions is marking its 10th anniversary as the Laura Ashley basic bedding licensee with the debut of the Anniversary Collection.

The Anniversary Collection will include popular Laura Ashley prints in updated colors on pillow gussets, down alternative comforters and related bedding goods, Hollander said.

The updated classic prints will be merchandised with new quilting techniques and other new developments in a trend right collection, the company said. The Anniversary Collection consists of the Kate, Abbeville, and Mimmi Check, available in updated color palettes including orchid pink, canary yellow, sky blue, apple green and wisteria purple.

Hollander is also expanding its “green” Laura Ashley Natural Elements collection.  This program features fabric constructions in a variety of thread counts in all-cotton, non-bleach, non-dyed and eco-friendly fabrics, and uses rejuvenated polyesters as fill for most of the synthetic pillows. The line is also packaged with environmentally conscious packaging.

“Over the last decade, we have seen a tremendous amount of success with the Laura Ashley brand,” said Louis Smith, vp of brand management, Hollander Home Fashions.

Penne Cairoli, General Manager for Laura Ashley, Inc., said the partnership has made “a difference in the consumer’s mind” by combining the fashion roots of the brand with the design innovation of Hollander.
