Lenzing Fibers Opens New India Office

Coimbatore, India —

Lenzing Fibers opened a sales and marketing office here in one of India's key textile centers.

"A central task of our team is to support the brand manufacturers who source their products in India. We help to find the right fabrics of Lenzing fibers for the respective applications and thus offer international buyers vital support," said S. Jayaraman, head of the Lenzing office here.

The Lenzing group also is erecting a new viscose fiber production plant in India together with the Indian Modi group. The factory is expected to begin production in 2010 or 2011.
