By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 3/7/2005 12:00:00 AM

The Fashion Institute of Technology's Advanced Management Program will hold its “Globalizing a Fashion Business” module from March 17 to 19 featuring a roster of authorities from the worlds of both industry and academia to help provide a greater understanding of the emerging global marketplace.

The program, which is directed at senior level executives in apparel retailing, manufacturing and related businesses, will be held at the new FIT Conference Center in New York City.

Highlights of the three-day program include talks from Maureen Gray, vice president of customs compliance at Polo Ralph Lauren, who will speak to the evolving duty structure of global trade; and Frank Kelly, vice president of international trade compliance for Liz Claiborne Inc., who will offer an overview of shifting regulations in world markets.

The program is being held in cooperation with the United States Department of Commerce.

For more information, contact Eric Hertz, FIT director of executive education, at 212- 217-7598 or by e-mail at eric_hertz@fitnyc.edu.
