ShopKo recruits McHose, promotes Vandenhouten

Green Bay, Wis. – ShopKo has named Douglas McHose senior vp, store operations. McHose joins the 135-store regional general merchandise chain from Best Buy, where he was most recently territory vp for a 14-state, $3.6 billion division. Prior to Best Buy, he had also worked in operations at Payless ShoeSource.
ShopKo has promoted Peter Vandenhouten to vp, general counsel. He joined the company in 1999 and advanced to assistant general counsel and corporate secretary in 2003.
