Shaw shifts showroom

DALTON, GA —

Shaw Rugs has moved to a larger and more strategic location at the Market Square rug market in High Point, NC.

The new showroom is 6,000 square feet — more than three times the size of Shaw's original High Point showroom, a 1,800-square-foot space that the company leased in the furniture area of High Point's International Home Furnishings Center.

"Our business is so much bigger today than it was back then, when we signed the original lease five years ago, that we've outgrown that showroom," Jeff Meadows, division vp, told HTT . "We've also grown through our signature license programs with Martha Stewart, Kathy Ireland and Tommy Bahama, which we didn't have before. Now we have a better shopping environment."
