Worldly exhibitors head to the show

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 3/22/2004 12:00:00 AM

The spring New York Home Textiles Show will feature 158 international companies from more than 20 countries, representing nearly 40 percent of the show's exhibitor base.

The 25th semi-annual edition of the show will feature government-sponsored pavilions from Italy, Japan, Bangladesh and China. In addition, independent companies will participate from Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Nepal, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

A new Global Connections division will be introduced at the spring 2004 show, featuring companies from Bangladesh, China, India and Pakistan.

The market aims to showcase companies that seek large volume business and mass retail opportunities, serving importers, manufacturers and retailers looking to source directly from overseas producers.
