Penney expands Castella's role, promotes Williams and Lee

PLANO, Texas — Steve Castella, senior product manager for window coverings at JCPenney, has added the rest of soft home to his responsibilities.

Castella assumes the duties of Katie Erb, who is retiring. He continues to report to Deb Evans, vice president, private brands.

Laura Williams has been promoted to the new position of managing senior buyer in the bath business. Williams, formerly a senior buyer in bath, "will assist in the management coordination of goals in the bath business," explained Charlie Chinni, executive vice president, home, fine jewelry, family shoes.

She reports to Steve Jebbia, vice president, merchandise manager, bed and bath.

Rhonda Lee has been promoted to buyer of shower curtains and bath accessories, succeeding Jerry Fisher, who retired. Lee and the other bath buyers report to Williams.
