Oriental Weavers Hires Moss

Area rug house Sphinx by Oriental Weavers has appointed 20-year industry veteran David Moss to the post of sales manager of the Southeast region.

Moss brings to his new post more than two decades of career experience working in the carpet and area rug industry.

At Sphinx, he is assigned to lead the company's sales efforts from Florida to Virginia. He is responsible for developing new business for the area rug, broadloom, and rug pad categories, as well as managing the sales staff in the Southeastern states. He reports to Sam Belak, vp, sales.

"He brings to Sphinx an extensive background in both area rugs and broadloom and we foresee tremendous growth potential in the region under his leadership," said Mike Riley, president of Oriental Weavers USA Inc., a division of Oriental Weavers Group and the umbrella for several brands, including Sphinx by Oriental Weavers and Oriental Weavers of America.
