Williams jumps to Springs

Springs Industries last week announced that Dale Williams will be joining the company.
Williams has been named senior vp, global sourcing and international marketing, effective immediately. He succeeds Ben Watkins, who is now leading a special project team focused on sales and marketing issues.
Before joining Springs, Williams had held executive positions with WestPoint Stevens and with Pillowtex as the senior vp and general manager for its Ralph Lauren business. He was most recently the president and ceo for HomePortfolio Inc.
