New York —
Home Textiles Today invites suppliers that exhibited during New York Market Week to submit images of their “best of show” new products for the TiA — the Textiles Innovation Award that spotlights the most trend-right textiles coming out of August Market.
The contest is open to all home textiles product categories.
This semi-annual competition — which debuted after the fall 2005 market and is sponsored by Imex Vinyl Packaging — is open to exhibitors that showed in showrooms, at hotels or at the New York Home Textiles Show following the New York Home Textiles Market earlier this month.
Great design and innovation will be awarded in six areas:
Best Organic/Eco-Friendly New Product
Best Modern Living Design
Best Luxe Design
Best Novelty Design
Best Nature-Inspired Design
Most Innovative New Product
Please send only one submission per design category.
HTT's editors will narrow submissions and announce TiA nominees in the Sept. 18 issue of the publication and through the HTT Extra e-newsletter. The industry will be invited to vote on the best of the best from Sept. 18 through Oct. 10 at hometextilestoday.com. The winners will be announced in print and online Oct. 16.
To participate, send a digital photo of your best new product to firstname.lastname@example.org between now and 5 p.m. (EST) Monday, Sept. 11. The submission should include:
A. Company name
B. Product name and description.
C. Category for which it is being submitted
D. Location where the product was shown during market.
Digital Image Specifications
Images should be at least 4-by-6 inches at 300 dpi (1,200 x 1,800 pixels), and no larger than 8-by-10 inches (2,400 x 3,000 pixels).
We highly recommend sending your images in JPEG format, provided they conform to the specifications above. This will reduce attachment sizes, making your e-mail easier to send and receive. We can also accept the following file formats: .TIFF .PSD .EPS
