Springs bolsters juvenile biz with McCaffrey hire

Tom McCaffrey, a veteran of the juvenile bedding business, has joined Springs Industries Inc. as account manager for the major mill's juvenile products business.

McCaffrey joins Springs after decades working in the home fashions industry. Before joining Springs, McCaffrey held positions with The Bibb Company, before its sale to Dan River, with Hollander Home Fashions and most recently with Guilford Home Textiles, before the sale of that company's home fashions business.

McCaffrey will be based in Atlanta, and report to Rick Canter, senior vp and president, national sales. He is a graduate of Villanova University and the Philadelphia School of Textiles.
