Atlanta —
Three area rug companies with permanent showrooms at the AmericasMart here are renovating their spaces in time for the next International Area Rug market, which will run Jan. 18 to 21, 2007.
Ebisons Harounian's 3,200-square-foot showroom in space 5-F-5 is getting a facelift with a neutral color palette, faux-finished floors, and new fixtures. Ebisons is based in New York.
As part of its 10th anniversary, Maryland-based Dynamic Rugs is revamping its 3,200-square-foot space in 3-C-5 with new flooring, lighting, and wall color schemes.
"We thought it appropriate to celebrate new beginnings and new lines with a new, completely contemporary look," said Matthew Rouhanian, president, Dynamic Rugs. The company is hosting a party during the market on Jan. 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A new facade, flooring, and lighting are the updates being made at Amici Imports' 2,500-square-foot space at 6-F-11. The company is based in Lebanon, N.J. "In 2006, we introduced 100 new designs and for 2007 we're introducing five or six new collections in addition to anywhere from 120-150 new designs," says Chuck Cashin, vp, sales and marketing. "Our newly remodeled showroom is reflective of our new product."
We would love your feedback!
