Shanghai — The Shanghai International Home Textile Industrial Park is under construction on its second phase, which is expected to wrap construction in 2007.
The park, located in the textiles-heavy YangPu district, is anchored by an existing 40,000-square-meter showroom building occupied by roughly 100 home textiles companies.
When the $250 million park project is completed, the compound will include a hotel, an exhibition center, an international home textiles trading center, a conference hall and a museum showcasing traditional Chinese home textiles designs.
