Pillow named new Tommy Bahama ceo

New York – Fashion brand house Oxford Industries has named Terry Pillow ceo of the Tommy Bahama Group, effective June 1, the date that current ceo and founder Tony Margolis will retire. Pillow will join the company on March 17 to begin preparing for the transition; Margolis will remain active on the advisory board for the brand.

Hicks Lanier, chairman and ceo of Oxford, said of Pillow, “Terry has a very strong product, brand and retail background and I am confident that he is the right person to lead Tommy Bahama to the next level.”

Pillow has held posts at A/X Armani Exchange, Coach and Polo Ralph Lauren, and began his career at Neiman Marcus.

Also effective on June 1, Doug Wood will be promoted to president and coo of the Tommy Bahama Group.

Revman International is the main soft home licensee for the brand. For the Tommy Bahama Home collection, Revman International produces bedding ensembles and soft window treatments; Avanti Linens works with Revman to coordinate its luxury embellished towel program with Revman’s looks; and there is a rug program by Shaw Living. There are also a residential and outdoor furniture lines.
