Rugmark to honor Sen. Metzenbaum

WASHINGTON —

The Rugmark Foundation will be hosting an event next month to honor Sen. Howard Metzenbaum (ret., D, OH) for his life-long commitment to children and workers around the world.

The cocktail reception will be held on Thurs., Sept. 26, 2002 here. A carpet raffle will be held from now until the event to raise funds for Rugmark in an effort to continue moving children from carpet looms to school. Tickets are $10 each.
