Battles mans new post at Nourison

Company still expanding sales

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 8/30/2004 12:00:00 AM

Nourison recently appointed Monica Battles to the newly created position of account executive for the northwestern United States and western Canada regions.

This appointment is part of the company's larger effort started in early 2003 to expand its sales coverage nationally.

She will report to Pat Muschamp, vice president, national sales manager.

Prior to joining Nourison, Battles worked as territory manager for MLC Flooring in western Washington, with comprehensive responsibility for sales, marketing support and product training. Earlier in her career, she worked in executive recruiting for Business Management Services and as a retail manager for Carpet Exchange.

"Monica comes to us with a broad spectrum of experience in both merchandising and management," Muschamp said.

"She is sure to become a highly productive member of our sales team. Nourison has made it a top level priority to provide our customers with the one-to-one support that optimizes every business opportunity. We are already seeing enormously positive results from this strategy, most of all in the increased satisfaction that our customers express in our ability to service their needs," Muschamp added.
