CAPE TOWN , SOUTH AFRICA —
CAPE TOWN , SOUTH AFRICA — Services were held for Frank Greenblatt, ceo of Svenmill Ltd., who died late last month.
Greenblatt, 55, was a principal in the decorative woven fabrics mill here.
He is survived by his wife, Francine, and three children, Brent, Adam and Danielle.
My sincere condolences on hearing of the passing of a wonderfully kind and generous man. I had the pleasure of reissuing Mr Greenblatt''''''''s international tickets when working for Air New Zealand in Auckland and his company kept in touch with my husband and self at Christmas time especially. Whilst doing research I have learnt of his untimely passing far too late in the piece. Nevertheless my heart goes out to Mrs Greenblatt and the Greenblatt family.
Warm regards Susan Judd

My apologies for not sending a message of condolence until this time.l have only just this minute discovered that l can do it.l did write a letter to Francine ,when she originally told me. The news that Frank had died, was a great shock to me, which has stayed with me ever since. lt has only really sunk in, in recent months. l knew Frank and Francine through there stays at the Connaught in London, over quite a few years. Frank was instrumental in my wife and l being able to visit South Africa for the first time in 1991. We have visited many times since. Frank was a very kind and generous man, who loved his sport and l am sorry that it has taken me so long to pay some sort of tribute to him. l hope this email finds Francine and the three children well.

I know it's 6 years since his death, but I've only just found out about it, thanks to Google.
I knew Frank when he was studying textiles in the UK at Leicester University. My cousin, Lynne, knew him before me and introduced us. I came to Cape Town myself in 1969 and Frank showed me and a friend the sights, and looked after us very well during our stay.
A lovely man, and my cousin and I are both saddened to hear of his passing.
