Bacova Bath Rug Lines get Truly Organic

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 8/20/2007 12:00:00 AM

Bacova Guild is serious about becoming environmentally friendly. It has implemented several measures at its manufacturing and warehousing facilities that involve efficient energy use and recycling, among other things.

And in its product offering, it has added two bath rug collections to its line that are certified organic not only in fiber but also in the manufacturing and dyeing of these products.

"We're finding that a lot of product today is made organically but not handled organically," explained David Graham, business manager for Bacova's bath rugs division. "But we think it's important. If there is a customer who understands what organic really means and wants it, that product should be organic throughout its entire process."

The two styles of these heavy-weight organic cotton bath rugs are: Tailor Made, which is rectangular; and Splendor, an oval style. Both are reversible.
